apparently global warming forgot about the midwest..

cause it is fucking cold here.
and it's not just cause i've gone soft with the california weather.

well i'm finally back home for break, and after my friday night red eye flight back to chicago, i drove down to u of i for the weekend to celebrate with the graduates! cass, sag, steve, and a couple others all finally leaving the undergraduate paradise. well, saturday night was fun. it started at cass's with a little di-game, "three-man", which if i remember correctly..we played over spring break. the only reason i do remember playing this game is eric shouting alot during the game (although that could describe alot of eric nights..haha.right? oh yea, and tell me about sleepys!). anyway, the night out was great..although the walk to the bars was sooo cold. even after many beers and that extra alcohol warmth, i felt as if i was walking through antartica to get to brothers. and then the next night, it got 10 degrees colder. it was so cold that i made myself the DD just so i could drive to the bar instead of face the blistering cold again.

anyway, believe it or not, i'm actually getting too cold here sitting at the computer..my little fingers aren't moving so nimbly anymore, so i'm gonna go sit over the heating vent for a while, maybe take a nap there, to warm myself up.

so today during my final, i wanted to get rid of my gum, but i was pretty much locked in, and in order to get up, i would have had to climb over several rows of seats, and people in them. so i decided to just put the gum under the desk, totally intending to take it off when i was leaving...because i hate when people leave gum under the desks...its gross.

anyway, needless to say, i forgot to throw away my gum, and its probably still sitting under that desk. oops. but later in the day, i was sitting at my computer, and noticed that something was itching/pulling at my lower back, and when i put my hand back there to find out what it was, it was GUM!! gum got stuck inbetween my back and my underwear elastic! what the hell? how did it even get there? the weird thing is the gum didn't get anywhere else...not on my pants..not on my sweater or shirt...just inbetween my underwear and my back. its like someone dropped it down there during my exam...i just don't understand...

well thats just like getting slapped in the face by karma.

anyway, schools still pretty crazy..its mid final season. i can't wait til spring semester and ultimate starts again!! but its so sweet to be able to throw and play pick up year round...what a blessing..this california weather.

but seriously, how did it get THERE?
