man, i, once again, totally forgot i have a blog. i'm even listed as dead on jess's links!

anyway, our first tournament tommorow, and after lying in bed for about an hour, i gave up on going to sleep before midnight...so i decided to catch up on all these blogs that i haven't read in a long long time. what better way to put myself to sleep than to read other people's blogs, right? wrong. for some reason i got ten times giddier after reading other people's blogs....i feel like i want to get up and do something important, like i don't know what, but something important (instead i use my energy to blog. haha).

but now that i have actually started writing, i'm getting sleepy again. maybe i'll go back to bed, and blog some more tommorow.

eh, i almost forgot i had a blog until i saw a link in someones aim profile. so what the hell, i guess i'll post.

i've pretty much done setting up my room. i live in a lovely hogan five person suite where the lights do alot of flickering and the shower...well hot is cold and cold is hot and then it reverses on you right in the middle of your shower! but really, the setup is sweet...i love the people i'm living with and i have a kitchen and theres a tv and cable! i couldnt be happier.

but horror of all horrors! while i was setting up my room, i had my laptop on the edge of my desk with the wireless card sticking out of it. needless to say, while i was moving my desk, there went the laptop crashing to the ground landing smack on the protruding wireless card. the laptop was fine (phew!) but the wireless card is now split in half. the thing is, i think it might still work, but the damn thing wont come out of the port! and i need that port to transfer music and movies to my hardrive. what the hell! i think i may just have to pry it out, but i dont have the guts to destroy a piece of technology like that.

we've also been in frisbee recruiting mode all weekend. a lot of girls have emailed me intersted in playing, so i'm really excited. i also finally got my act together and posted for a coach, and whereas i was expecting maybe one response or most likely none, i've already gotten like 6 of them. now i have to pick! thats gonna be harder than i thought. we also had a couple ultimate parties/gettogethers over the weekend....but man, there is definitely a distinct presence missing at these parties...namely jess and eric. I guess i've just always associated them with ultimate parties, the same way i did many of the graduates with the ultimate team, and they're just not there anymore. Its strange that these people just arent there anymore. Somehow, i managed to come across today ultimate pics from the end of the year party last year that i never got around to posting...man they were amazing.

well i'm actually getting tired now. first day of classes was long and boring. maybe tommorow will be better.

Matt: Because everybody seems to be smiling at me today.

geez, i hope i get one of those days soon. maybe tommorow.
