quick note

so about two weeks ago, work must have figured out that people (me) spend way too much time surfing the internet (browsing blogs) and not enough time doing work (spreadsheets) because they blocked blogspot! that was a tough week for me, getting through each day with only the news and those vox blogs as breaktime material.

but literally, just now, and purely by accident, i clicked on a blogspot link, and a fully functional page loaded! blogspot is back up and running! woohoo! i'm not sure why they unblocked it, but hey, i'm not complaining.

anyway, i'm a lot more busy at work these days. i was finally taken off a dying 'donkey' project and put onto two new ones..one being a wind turbine farm! cool! busy is good, but i had to put in a lot of extra hours the week before i went away to get stuff done for the bosses.

and last week, i had my first week-long holiday from work, and i spent it playing frisbee with the irish team at europeans. it was a fantastic week, more details later. now i've got to get back to work...real actual work!
