new addition: titles!
so it is pretty much inevitable that i will sleep less than 5 hours before a tournament. i guess thats what going to bed at 3am every night will do to you. i actually went to bed at 11.30 tonight, slept for an hour, and now i'm up and feel like i've already had a nights sleep. maybe blogging will help me waste this energy so i can go back to bed, and then wake up at 5.45am. woo.
anyway, it had been too long since our last team dinner, and i'm so glad stoops proposed one tonight. we used to do those semi-regularly last year...something about a princeton eating club? no? yea i think that was it. anyway, the menu stuck to the basics...pasta & sauce, with garlic bread, although the sauce did get a little funky. i think there was some tequilla in there, mixed with some marsala sauce, and whoever said "you can never have too much garlic" was DEFINITELY wrong. i'm still tasting it. but nonetheless, a very enjoyable evening. i'll definitely offer up my suite next time we have one, assuming somebody helps me cook, because all i can do reliably is boil water, and as long as it isn't as gross as it is now. nobody should be allowed in our suite common room in its present state; its probably bad for your health or something.
when i came home from dinner, started watching some tv. nothing good on. tried to watch you got served, which i was really excited about, but i wasn't in the mood for bad acting + awesome dancing. so i finally got around to watching some of the new southparks i downloaded, including the terri schiavo BEST FRIENDS FOREVER episode everyone was talking about at dinner. wow. it was pretty awesome...i kinda wish i had seen it earlier when the whole terri schiavo case was more relevant. it said exactly what needed to be said about that whole ordeal. plus that angel kept sniffing the permanent marker! haha...that so reminded me of one of my high school math teachers who would open a permanent marker and take a biiiig whiff of it before actually using writing anything. how the hell do you smell whiff? one f? two? no h? i have no clue.
anyway, i should probably try sleeping again. we have a really important tournament this weekend. uh, yea, real important. too bad its the reject teams of yale cup. but you know what, if we win it, which is actually a possibility, we get gaia gift certificates. i will still be real pissed about not getting into yale cup, but it wont sting so bad with some new gaia gear. yea RHODE ISLAND!
