lipstick!

i have a new hanging plant, and it is called a "lipstick" plant because it has beautiful dark red flower buds on it. after visiting my room about a month ago, eric remarked that a hanging plant would be the perfect use for the random iron rod hanger-thingy that sticks out of my wall. all year long i had been trying to think of what to use the damn thing for, and i never thought of a plant! i would have bought one after he suggested it, but i didn't think it was worth it for the two months left of school..

but eric visited again today, and he FORCED me to buy one. apparently he had some of my poker winnings from last year, so we picked one out, and it is awesome. i am sorry i ever doubted your wisdom, eric.


in other news, i almost certainly did not pass that 8-hour engineering exam i took on saturday. first of all, it was 8 hours, and that in and of itself was hell. and secondly, it was on subject matter that i either never had knowledge of or material i had completely forgotton. i would have done better on this test straight out of high school, after taking calc and physics. it was actually so bad that i actually had a series of about 30 questions with just c's filled in. whatever. if i have to take it again, atleast i know what to expect, but right now i'm just praying that whoever created the answer sheet loves the letter c, because i would really like to never ever again have to take this exam.

i just realized its april 18. i graduate in a month! SCARY!
i remember all the seniors last year saying that they were so ready to graduate, but somehow, that sentiment hasn't hit yet.
